In just a few words
The journey to understand and empower people and organisations started a long time ago for me.
I hold an Honours degree in Psychology and an MBA in International Business, and I am also trained in Intuitive Mastery. I grew up between India, the USA, and Germany, and moved to the UK in 2003 to pursue my MBA, and subsequently made it my home.
Over the past 20 years, I have held various leadership positions at several blue-chip organisations, managing diverse teams, working with C-level stakeholders, and consulting on different global and regional projects.
I have worked with leaders, students, and change-makers at global multinationals, small enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations. I am deeply passionate about writing and speaking on topics that matter, training teams, and coaching people and teams from all walks of life. I have also had the honour of speaking on three TEDx stages, and being a Corporate Coach of the Year awardee.
In very short, this is who I am, but I invite you to read more about my story below.
My Story
Becoming a trainer, a speaker, a coach, someone who people come to for guidance and advice was never something planned.
Not until recently, at least.
It was only in 2014 that I started to really be conscious of my personal development and self-discovery journey.
I was living the typical life. For over 15 years, I had built a corporate career working for some of the most reputable corporations. I was independent, self-sufficient, I had just bought my flat in London.
To many, that might sound like the definition of a successful life. The truth is, to me, it did not feel like a success at all.
I knew I was not reaching my full potential at work. Every time I thought I was going somewhere, I faced a setback or lost my job. I felt unseen for my talents and who I was and didn’t know what to do. I was unhappy in my relationship and just couldn’t seem to move forward. I felt sad and helpless like someone else was controlling my destiny.
I saw myself not going anywhere. Just standing there, in a rut, basic needs met, grazing my way through life. That’s not who I wanted to be anymore. So I opened myself up to learn. I dropped my walls and invested in developing myself. I opened up to hearing ‘harsh’ truths. It wasn’t always easy. It was tempting to turn back. But once I started to take responsibility for my mistakes and failures, there was no going back. I could see that I create my life.
I realised that success and achievement in anything in life is an inner game. I learnt about the creative nature of human beings from my coach and mentors. I discovered the ideas and work that are available in the world, and deeply realised who I am and what had been holding me back. I understood the limiting nature of fear and beliefs. I applied this learning and knowledge to my work, my love life, my gifts and talents. It’s led me to create the life of my dreams, and I’m constantly growing.
I feel happy and content and joyous with who I am and what I have in my life. A loving husband and a great marriage. A great relationship with my parents. Friends reaching out to me from around the world. A wonderful support network. A great home. Money in the bank. Time for me. Freedom and flexibility to do what I love, which is to inspire people to do what they love and live their greatest life. I am happy, peaceful, at ease, and so excited about what’s to come.
Opening up to guidance and support changed my life. It helped me go from my ‘victim track’, where life happened to me, to my ‘power track’, where I started happening to life. I realised who I was and what I had going for me. I saw there was a beautiful life out there, and I learnt how to bring myself into it.
I understood why we hold ourselves back, and how to create what we love. This is everybody’s birthright and destiny, no matter their past or where they are now. It’s relatively simple to learn, practise, apply and grow. It is now my mission to help other people realise who they really are, and create the life they would love.
