What are your learning models based on?
With a background in Psychology, over 20 years’ global management experience and a wide interest in traditional and modern methods of personal growth and development both in the East and West, my work tends to combine a practical approach to solutions and results, with a deeper people-focused understanding of self and the root cause of issues and limitations.
I draw heavily on intuitive processes, psychological constructs and management approaches, as well as my own Fear Awareness Coaching Techniques (FACTs).
All my work is geared to be easily understood and relatable, whilst gently helping people and teams address their core underlying fears, issues and blockers, and find the courage, resilience and structures to grow.
Can you offer support to teams facing challenges or crises?
Yes, I often work with teams to provide more direct support to help them go beyond a current issue or challenge to their next level.
Support services that may benefit your team could include strategic appraisals, surveys and interviews to understand your people and challenges better; sustained team building activities and structures to build courage, trust, communication and creativity; coaching sessions for individuals who are on a development track to realise and fulfil their potential; one-to-one or team mentoring sessions to create a structured place for your team to talk, work through ideas and plans, develop particular skills, and be inspired to grow.
The support is built around your needs, to help your people create results, where they need it most.
With decades of experience in performance management, problem solving, project leadership, team management and organisational transformation, you can rest assured that I understand the delicate balance between people, processes, systems, finances, stakeholders and communities to deliver long-lasting, sustainable results.
Do you work with Diversity & Inclusion groups?
I have worked extensively with diversity and inclusion groups, including gender, race and cultural integration organisations and associations.
I believe firmly in the power of the diversity of human beliefs to create greater things than ever existed before, thanks to our varied experiences, needs and norms.
Being a woman of colour, a first generation immigrant and one of the youngest women to have worked in my industry at the time, I understood first hand what it takes to go beyond barriers, ceilings and perception to create our own destiny, success and life the way we would love it to be.
My mission is to help people go beyond societal conditioning, perceptions and their own limiting beliefs to create what they love. And include others on the journey with them.
Let me know your desired D&I objectives for your organisation, and I would be delighted to tailor a program to suit your needs.
Do you work with children and young people?
Yes, I have held sessions at a number of schools to inspire young people to develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and self-expression skills at a young age. I also offer programmes for Universities.
From time to time, I mentor individual students in a structured learning and development journey typically over six to twelve months.
I also hold one-to-one conversations with children and teenagers to help them develop self confidence or get over a particular challenge, at their parents’ request.
